چکیده

Passive noise reduction methods require thick and heavy barriers to be effective for low frequencies those clasical ones are thus not suitable of frequency generated by devices. Active noise-cancelling casings, where casing walls vibrations actively controlled, an interesting alternative that can provide much higher low-frequency reduction. Such systems, compared classical ANC only local, but also global reduction, which is highly expected most applications. For control a large number actuators required. Additionally, high error sensors, usually microphones measure emission from the device, All have effect on all system must take into account paths, each actuator sensor. The Multiple Error FXLMS has very computational requirements. To reduce it Switched-Error FXLMS, one signal used at given time, been proposed. This, however, significantly reduces convergence rate. In this paper algorithm uses multiple errors once, all, performance various variants using simulations with models obtained real active-noise cancelling casing.

An Active Noise Cancelling Algorithm with Secondary Path Modeling

This paper presents a hybrid active noise canceling (HANC) algorithm to overcome the acoustic feedback present in most ANC system, together with an efficient secondary path estimation scheme. The HANC system provides a solution of two fundamental problems present in these kind of ANC systems: The first consists in a reduction of the acoustic feedback from the cancellation loudspeaker to the inp...

Application of the Fxlms Algorithm in Active Noise Reduction

Application of the filtered-X LMS algorithm to adaptive/active noise cancelling in headsets or hearing protectors has been investigated. The speed of convergence and amount of obtainable noise reduction was investigated for different step-size parameters and FIR filter lengths. Simple models for the headphone transfer function and the sound transmission through the ear cups are applied. We have...

FxLMS-based Active Noise Control: A Quick Review

This paper represents a short review on active noise control (ANC) with the emphasis on ANC systems implemented by using FxLMS adaptation algorithm. The physical mechanism behind active noise control, based on which local silence zones can be created is detailed. Basic configurations for realization of ANC systems are then introduced. It is shown that FxLMS algorithm has been widely used in dif...

Noise cancelling for microphone arrays

In this paper an application of the noise cancelling method for suppression of noise of a microphone array system is discussed. First an overview of the noise cancelling approach is given. This is followed by a description of the employment of the method in a realized microphone array system. The limiting factors are described and theoretical limits of the noise suppression are derived. Experim...

Feedforward Noise Cancelling Techniques

Supply noise is one of the major considerations in almost all analog building blocks. In the past, adequate supply rejection is usually achieved with circuit isolation or excess capacitive coupling. However, this brute force method requires large silicon area and degrades feedback bandwidth. In this study, a method of enhancing the power supply rejection (PSR) of a system by using a fast feed-f...
